Cherry Mobile recently released the 4G LTE ready
sibling of the Flare Y7. Unsurprisingly, it is dubbed as "Flare Y7
LTE". First off, Cherry Mobile Flare Y7 LTE features a stylish glass back
and a 6.2-inch display with HD+ 1520 x 720 resolution at 271 ppi. The good
thing about it is it goes with a tall 19:9 screen aspect ratio, slim side and
top bezels, and a tiny dewdrop-like notch. Its chin bezel is a bit thick, but
that's understandable for a budget phone.
Under the hood, it runs with 64-bit MT6739WW
quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with PowerVR GE8100 GPU. Since it is an Android 8.1 (Go
edition) device, the RAM is just at 1GB. The storage is a bit small at 8GB as
well. Fortunately, it is expandable with a microSD card up to 32GB.
The phone's battery capacity is a bit small at
2,800mAh. It also comes with a 13MP main cam with AF and a 5MP selfie cam. As expected, it features WiFi
b/g/n, 700MHz 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and dual SIM slots.
