Cherry Mobile unveiled the Flare X3, the highly
anticipated successor of the Flare X2 2016. First off, the Cherry Mobile
Flare X3 comes with a stylish 2.5D glass back design in twilight purple
gradient color and "S" line reflections. In front, it uses a Panda
King glass protected 6.18-inch 19:9 TrueView display with a pretty big notch to
house the earpiece, dual-selfie cam, and other sensors.
Under the hood, it is powered by the 12nm 64-bit
Helio P60 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz and Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It also
highlights a massive 6GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage via microSD up to 256GB,
and pretty large 4,000mAh battery with USB-C charging.
The main highlight of this handset is its cameras.
It comes with a total of 5 cameras. At the back, it features a 12MP primary
sensor paired with a 5MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth bokeh camera.
For selfies, it uses a 20MP primary shooter and a
2MP depth camera. It also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 700MHz 4G LTE
connectivity, and dual SIM slots. Lastly, it boots with Android 9.0
Pie OS out of the box.
Details are still scarce, but it is a very promising
device based on its design, specs, and features. Hopefully, it will be priced in
the under 12K range in order to competitively compete with the Redmi Note 7 Pro
and realme 3.
