After first being unveiled back in February 2019 the
Banana Pi BPI-M4 a Raspberry Pi alternative is now available to purchase from
online retailers such as AliExpress priced from US$ 38. Offering slightly
different features to the Raspberry Pi the Banana Pi BPI-MP4 is capable of
supporting 4K video and unlike the Raspberry Pi has 8GB of eMMC flash built-in
as well as a microSD card slot.
Powered by a Realtek RTD1395 quad-core Arm
Cortex-A53 processor supported by Mali-470 MP4 GP the mini PC is available with
up to 2GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage any form factor measuring 92 mm x 60
mm.
