The Android tablet market had been neglected by
manufacturers in the past few years as many of them shifted to Windows tablets.
Those who continued to make Android tablets usually used previous Android
versions and never released an update to a more recent version. This has
changed a lot since last year and Alldocube played a big role since almost all
their models come with the most recent Android version. This is the case with
the new iPlay10 Pro and iPlay8 Pro models that come with Android 9 Pie
preinstalled.
The iPlay10 Pro is a 10.1″ FHD tablet featuring an
IPS panel with 16:10 aspect ratio resulting in 221ppi, more than enough for a
tablet of this size. It is powered by MediaTek’s MT8163 SoC backed by 3GB of
RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB more). There’s
802.11a/b/g/n Dual-Band WiFi and GPS support and besides the microUSB port, it
also sports a micro-HDMI port too, rather rare in Android tablets. There are
two speakers and its battery capacity is 6600mAh and will easily take you
through a full day of use.
The iPlay8 Pro is the smaller sibling of the series
and it features almost the same specs as the bigger brother. It has an 8″ HD
IPS display and is powered by the same MT8163 SoC accompanied by 2GB (instead
of 3GB) of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. As far as the rest of the
differences are concerned, the WiFi is not Dual-Band in this model so no 5GHz
frequency, there is a single speaker, there is no micro-HDMI port, and the
battery is smaller, at 5500mAh. Of course, it comes with Android 9 Pie
preinstalled.
