Companies have been implementing smaller and smaller
notches and even unusual solution for selfie cameras like a shark fin or a
rotating mechanism. Looks like vivo is having none of that, listing a phone
with a wide notch on TENAA. It has the same footprint as the vivo V9, but
completely different specs on the inside.
The new phone comes with an octa-core CPU, clocked
at 1.95 GHz. This is likely the 12 nm Snapdragon 439, spotted in numerous other
vivo devices like the Y91, Y95 and a Y93. Unlike its siblings though, the new
phone is listed with 4 or 6 GB RAM, meaning it could provide a bit more power
(likely for a higher end price).
The cameras are 13 MP + 2 MP, while the selfie
shooter, tucked in the almost-retro wide notch is 16 MP. Speaking about the
front, TENAA listing reveals a Full HD+ resolution and 6.26” screen, but it’s
an LCD - the fingerprint scanner is on the back. The battery is listed as 3,180
mAh, while the color options are three - Champagne Gold, Rose Gold, Matte
Black.
