The Vivo V15 Pro that features a notch-less display
and a pop-up selfie camera is the fastest selling V-series phone from the
company. In India, the smartphone comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
Fresh information revealed by 91mobiles states that Vivo may soon launch an 8
GB RAM edition of the V15 Pro in India soon.
Citing information revealed by an unnamed Vivo India
executive, the publication ahs claimed that there will be an 8 GB RAM version
of the smartphone that will be arriving with an inbuilt storage of 128 GB. The
new RAM variant may come in a special color and it could be priced under Rs.
30,000 (US$ 432). In Malaysia, the Chinese firm is selling the V15 Pro in 8 GB
RAM + 128 GB version only for RM 1899.
At present, the Vivo V15 Pro with 6 GB RAM + 128 GB
storage is selling for Rs. 28,990. The Vivo executive has claimed that the
company may slash its price with the arrival of the 8 GB RAM variant. Also, the
Chinese firm will be announcing as many as three new phones in India in this
month. It is yet to be ascertained whether the company will be releasing U or Y
series smartphones in the country.
The Vivo V15 Pro features a Super AMOLED display of
6.39 inches. It is a notch-less display that supports full HD+ resolution of
1080 x 2316 pixels. The smartphone is blessed with an elevating front camera of
32-megapixel. The rear side of the smartphone has a triple camera unit that
includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a
depth sensor of 5-megapixel.
The Snapdragon 675 mobile platform fuels the Vivo
V15 Pro smartphone. The device is backed by a 3,700mAh battery that supports
dual-engine 18W fast charging through microUSB 2.0. The smartphone is also
equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The FunTouch OS 9 based Android
9 Pie comes preloaded on the V15 Pro. For additional storage, the smartphone is
equipped with a dedicated microSD card slot.
