Sony RX0 II

Sony just added another camera to their popular compact camera line-up, the RX0 II. At first look, the Sony RX0 II will remind you of the GoPro or Xiaomi Yi Cam action cameras. But the Japanese tech giant made sure it is more than just that. Weighing just 132g, RX0 II is now the world's smallest and lightest camera.

It is waterproof up to 10 meters deep, dustproof, shockproof up to two meters, and crushproof up to 200kg force.  Sony RX0 II can shoot up to 4k movie recording with full pixel readout and no pixel binning.  This camera also uses the recently introduced Sony Imaging Edge to make photos and videos easily transferred to a smartphone. It also has the Super Slow Motion feature that can record up to 1000fps, uncompressed 4K HDMI output.

For photography, Sony RX0 II boasts of an anti-distortion shutter of up to 1/32000 secs and can shoot at up to 16fps. The popular Sony's Eye AF that shoots great portraits has been upgraded in the RX0 II. Sony Imaging Edge Mobile can control up to five RX0 II cameras.

There's no word yet regarding the price but according to Sony, the RX0 II will be available in select Asia Pacific countries from April 2019. The RX0 II kit with the VCT-SGR1 Shooting Grip and bracket will be available in selected Asia Pacific countries from mid 2019.
