Realme launched its latest smartphone, Realme 3 Pro
in India last month. Recently, a new Realme smartphone named Realme X with the
no-notch display was certified by TENAA in China. In similar lines, Realme X
has now received the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification suggesting
that the launch of the smartphone in India is imminent, after the China launch
this month.
The BIS certification comes just after a few days of
Realme X getting certified by TENAA in China. According to reports, a BIS
listing shows new Realme smartphones with Model RMX1901 and RMX1945 and these
are reportedly the model numbers of the unannounced Realme X smartphone. The
report also suggested that Realme X will be the first device from Realme to
sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC.
Realme X is rumored to flaunt a 6.5-inch no-notch
display, dimensions of 161.2×76×9.4mm and a 3680mAh (minimum) battery, probably
with VOOC 3.0 fast charging. In terms of optics, it is rumored to come with a
48MP + 5MP dual rear cameras.
It will likely run Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS
6.0 on top. Also, there might be a
pop-up camera, gradient back, AI dual rear cameras and possibly an in-display
fingerprint scanner since the is no fingerprint scanner on the back.
These smartphones are expected to be introduced in
China sometime in mid-May, and we should know more details including detailed
specifications and the launch date in the coming days.
