After certifications from the Bluetooth SIG and WiFi
Alliance, the Nokia TA-1182 appeared at the FCC, suggesting imminent launch.
The certification reveals already known-features of the TA-1182 – a Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 chipset, a 4000 mAh
battery and dimensions of 161.24 x 76.24 x 178.36mm. In the accessories, Nokia
TA-1182 will come with HS-34 headset.
It hinted at the presence of Android 9 Pie and will
support Bluetooth 5.0 LE, WiFi b/g/n and GPS in connectivity. It’s likely to
feature a 6-inch display as according to the certified dimensions. It could be
the Nokia 3.2 coming to the US market according to the block diagram published
by FCC. However, Nokia 3.2 was launched alongside Nokia 4.2 at the Mobile World
Congress in Barcelona.
Multiple reports about the upcoming Nokia handsets
in the past uncovered various details. Both the Nokia TA-1182 and TA-1153 are
the upcoming affordable devices expecting to launch soon. Nokia is considering to rapidly
expand its portfolio globally with the launch of new entry-level devices. We
expect some more details to unleash before the actual launch in the coming
days.
In a bid to expand the availability of new devices,
the company recently unveiled Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 9 Pureview in India and
Taiwan respectively.
