Meizu 16Xs is officially arriving on Thursday, but
we have another set of leaks before the scheduled launch. The latest info from
China revealed two of the back panels of the phone, showcasing a Black and a
Pink/Red gradient. There is a cutout for the camera in the top left corner, but
thanks to a Weibo blogger, we also have samples from the setup that will find
its way there.
The photos even came with some EXIF data, giving a
bit more clarity about the cameras. The 48 MP main sensor, producing images in
12 MP is likely the same as the one in Meizu 16s, down to the f/1.7 aperture;
however, the second camera is an ultra-wide-angle shooter with an 8 MP sensor
and f/2.2 lens and what appears to be 120-degree FOV.
The Meizu 16Xs announcement is coming soon, and once
we know the final details like pricing and availability, we’ll let you know.
The device is expected to come with a Snapdragon 675 chipset since Meizu brands
its more affordable series with the X moniker.
