HP announced the 15.6-inch ZBook 15 G6 and 17.3-inch
ZBook 17 G6 mobile workstations to replace last year’s ZBook 15 G5 and ZBook 17
G5. The announcement comes concurrently with Nvidia’s reveal of the mobile RTX
Quadro series at Computex 2019. The company says that it comes with the world’s
first 100 percent DCI-P3 display.
Both the laptops are powered by up to 9th Gen Intel
Core and Intel Xeon processors, and next-gen NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 GPU. Aside
from the upgraded internals, G6 models will sport the same chassis design,
keyboard, and trackpad as their G5 predecessors.
Apart from the refreshed ZBook series of laptops, HP
also introduced its entry workstations, HP Z1 Entry Tower G5, HP Z2 Mini G4, HP
Z2 Small Form Factor G4, and HP Z2 Tower G4.
The HP ZBook Mobile
Workstations, HP Z1 Desktop Entry Tower and HP Z2 Desktop are expected to be
available in July and there is no information on the pricing yet.
