HP updated its 2018 Elite x2 G3 detachable to the
2019 Elite x2 G4 and it is the world’s first business detachable with a leather
keyboard folio, integrated dual-camera privacy shutters, and privacy screen. It
flaunts a 14-inch 4K IPS anti-glare LED-backlit display with a resolution of
3840 x 2160 pixels. The x2 G4 is powered by 8th Generation Intel Core i7
processor, NVIDIA Quadro M620/ Intel UHD Graphics 620, 8 GB DDR4 and 512 GB
PCIe NVMe SSD.
Along with the Elite x2 G4, HP also announced
EliteBook x360 1030 G4, and EliteBook x360 1040 G6 laptops. The company claims
that the EliteBook x360 1030 G4 is the world’s smallest and lightest business
convertible and x360 1040 G6 offers the world’s longest battery life in a
14-inch business convertible.
HP also announced HP Mini-In-One 24, new HP
EliteDesk 800 G5 Desktop Mini PC, HP EliteDisplay E223d and the HP EliteDisplay
E273d docking monitors along with the new Elite series. The HP EliteBook x360 1030 G4 is expected to be available in July for a
starting price of US$ 1,449 and the HP EliteBook x360
1040 G6 is expected to be available in July for a starting price of US$ 1,499.
