The ASUS Zenfone 6 will go official tomorrow, and while it is arguably one of the latecomers to the flagship arena this
year, it seems like the firm has done everything within its s power to ensure
the device is nothing but success when it hits the stores later. We got to know that the ASUS Zenfone 6 will get the Snapdragon 855
SoC under the hood alongside a 5000mAh battery.
Previous teasers put the camera as a
(48MP+13MP). Previously leaked images reveal the device will get an audio jack
port, a smart key, notification LED and triple slots, which means that it will
come with dual-SIM support among other things.
Besides the slider design, the ASUS Zenfone 6 image
seems to reveal the device will get a dual camera setup as well as a capacitive
fingerprint scanner, which is strange considering that most flagships have
since dumped the rear sensor placement for an in-display. The device obviously
will boot Android 9 out of the box and is tipped to come either in 6GB or 8GB
RAM, and 128GB/256GB internal memory. Asus may also launch a very expensive
12GB RAM/512GB storage variant, but that might only be available in select
markets.
A recent leak from China claims the device will come
with a price tag of TWD 19,990, TWD 23,990, and TWD 29,990 for the 6GB RAM +
128GB, 8GB RAM + 1256GB , and 12GB RAM + 512GB models in that order.
