At Computex 2019, ASUS has introduced two
new portable touchscreen monitors designed for gamers offering a 15.6 inch and
17.3 inch to choose from. The smaller ZenScreen Touch offers gamers a 15.6-inch
1080p touchscreen designed to be connected to mobile devices or laptops. While
the larger 17.3 inch ROG Strix XG17 IPS panel portable monitor offers a 1080p
resolution and is the world’s first portable 240Hz gaming monitor, ASUS
explains.
A dual-purpose smart cover protects the ROG Strix
XG17 screen during transit and provides a stand once you arrive at your
destination offering a variety of different angles to choose from depending on
your needs. Other features include USB-C ports, Micro HDMI, and a rechargeable
7,800mAh battery capable of providing up to 3 hours of gaming at 240 Hz on a
single charge.
Unfortunately, no information on pricing or
worldwide availability has been released as yet for either the ZenScreen Touch
or the ROG Strix XG17, but as soon as information comes to light, we will keep
you updated as always.
