ASUS has unveiled a new compact wireless
gaming mouse in the form of the Republic of Gamers (ROG) Strix Carry which it
seems has been designed to provide a wireless mouse that can be used for gaming
as well as general computer use. ASUS has been careful not to brand the mouse
with a “gaming” tag that it definitely supports gaming features such as a
7,200-dpi optical sensor with an on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment.
The ROG Strix Carry mouse is powered by two AA
batteries and weighs 122g measuring 101 mm x 62 mm x 36 mm (LxWxH). The ROG
Strix Carry features an almost ambidextrous design although is designed for the
right hand, with two right-side programmable buttons and Omron switches on two
main buttons which can be replaced with other preferred switches if desired.
Unfortunately, no information on pricing or
worldwide availability has been released as yet for the ASUS ROG Strix Carry
compact gaming mouse, but as soon as information comes to light, we will keep
you updated as always.
