Originally announced at CES 2019, the ASUS ROG
(GZ700) is finally in the Philippine shores. It is ASUS's attempt at pushing
the boundaries of what a powerful gaming laptop's form factor could be. It is
at the bleeding edge with its unique CNC Aluminum unibody design.
The display is a 17.3-inch 1080 IPS panel with 144Hz
refresh rate and 3 ms of response time. Inside is a an Intel Core
i9-8950HK CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 8GB GPU with up to 64GB of DDR4
RAM and up to 4 512GB SDD.
The keyboard is detachable and can be wired or full
wireless with backlit chiclet keyboard with RGB Aura sync support. It also goes
with 4 x 4 speakers with Smart AMP and Sabre HiFi chip. Lastly, it runs on either Windows
10 Home or Windows 10 Pro OS.
There is no word yet when it will be available for
purchase but it is priced at PHP 399,995.
