Last month, vivo released the X27 and today the Pro
version of the X27 went live on pre-order in China. At first glance, the phones
appear quite similar but around the back the X27 Pro's triple camera is aligned
centrally. It has the same 48MP main and 13MP ultrawide sensor as the X27, but
the depth sensor has been downgraded from 5MP to and 2MP.
A more crucial difference is the elevating front
camera which now comes with a 32MP module with flash compared to the flash-less
16MP one on the standard X27. The rest of the spec sheet matches the X27 with a 6.7" Super
AMOLED FHD+ screen, Snapdragon 710 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Pricing is CNY 3,998 (US$ 595/€ 530), a small premium
over the standard X27’s CNY 3,600 price tag. Official sales are scheduled to
begin on April 18.
