A new Realme device is appearing on the Chinese
TENAA with a model number ‘RMX1901’. It has a large 6.5-inch display with Full
HD+ resolution and a 3,680 mAh battery. TENAA images also reveal that this
unannounced Realme device doesn’t have a visible fingerprint scanner, so it
could possibly have an in-display scanner.
Earlier this month, we saw another unreleased Oppo
device with identical specifications and a similar design with the model number
‘PCGM00/PCGT00’ that was speculated to be the ‘Reno lite’ so it might give us
some clues as to the Realme device's other specs. That Oppo device has a pop-up
16MP selfie camera and considering it’s the same size display, we might see the
same from the Realme RMX1901.
Otherwise, both devices have their dual cameras
arranged in the same vertical layout, straight down the middle of its back. No other specs for the RMX1901
were revealed in the TENAA listing, but the matching Oppo device has a
Snapdragon 710 AIE, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of onboard storage. We might expect
similar specs for the Realme device, except maybe with not as much RAM and
storage.
The Realme RMX1901 is supposedly launching alongside
the Realme 3 Pro in China. Perhaps it will be a different variant of the Realme
3 lineup.
