New additions to the Hewlett-Packard business laptop
range have been unveiled this week in the form of the HP EliteBook 830 G6 with
optional support for AMD Radeon 550X graphics and EliteBook x360 830 G6. The HP
EliteBook 830 G6 business laptop is equipped with a 13.3 inch display powered
by Intel Core i7-8665U processor supported by up to 32GB of DDR-2400 RAM
together with up to 2TB of PCIe NVMe storage. Other new systems include the 14
inch HP EliteBook 840 G6 and HP EliteBook 850 G6 with support for up to a 4K
display, optional AMD Radeon RX 550 graphics, and Intel Optane memory.
The HP’s EliteBook x360 830 G6 business laptop is
equipped with similar specifications but lacks the option for AMD graphics and
instead sports a 360 degree hinge enabling users to use the laptop as a tablet
to preferred. Other features include a 53 Wh battery together with 2 x
Thunderbolt 3 ports.
The HP EliteBook 830 G6 on the other hand is only
equipped with one Thunderbolt 3 port, Ethernet, HDMI, and USB 3.1 port.
Together with a backlit keyboard with dedicated “collaboration” keys for Skype
and other communication tools. Optional communication is also provided via
support for Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and 4G LTE if required. Fore more details on all
