Huawei has finally brought their ultra-slim Matebook
13 laptop with Full View display and Fast Charging to the Philippines Announced earlier this year at
CES, the Huawei Matebook 13 is Huawei's more affordable Apple Macbook
competitor with a premium Aluminum and glass build.
It features what Huawei calls a Full View 13-inch
display with are resolution of 2160 x 1440 that makes 200 ppi. It has a wide
viewing angle of 178 degrees with a maximum brightness of 300 nits. The color
reproduction is fairly accurate with support for 100% sRGB color gamut.
Inside is an 8th Generation Intel Core processor
that is configured in either an i5-8265U or an i7-85665U with 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM
and up to 512GB SSD storage. Both models carry the 25Watt TDP variant of the
GeForce MX150 GPU. For ports it has Two USB Type-C (with one doubling as a charging
port) and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It features OneHop which allows the a Huawei
smartphone to transfer multiple files from their Huawei smartphone to the
Matebook 13 instantaneously. Lastly, it has a 41.8Wh or 3670mAh Li-Po battery with support for
Fast Charging. Huawei says that 15 minutes of charge can give you 2.5 hours of
use.
