has teased its new mid-range dual glass full screen smartphone, the Y30. The
slick-looking glass-and-metal design is the perfect embodiment of the brand’s
pursuit for sleek style and ultimate craftsmanship!
The beauty of the Y30 starts from two pieces of
glass, one on the front, and one on the back. They are no ordinary glass. They
were cut from a thin sheet cover glass with pristine surface quality,
outstanding optical clarity and inherent dimensional stability, and then went
through high-precision polishing to feature beautiful 2.5D curves on the edges.
The result is a rounded and elegant texture, a true modern glass art which
eludes premium the moment you hold it in your hand. What’s more, the back cover
has 10 layers of nano-optical coating, which gives the glass a rich layer of
illusion and reflects light and shadow from different angles with sleek style.
Y30’s metal band acts as part of the antennas and
also the structure that holds the front and back glass covers together with
crounded curvature to offer great hand-feel. In order to achieve the seamless
integration of the Y30’s metal frame and glass cover, EL Mobile worked closely
with Apple supply chain manufacturer, and uses a 10-axis engraving to precisely
polish the edge of the glass cover in 5 times of industry average. And the
metal frame is processed with high precision CNC of 0.05mm, and finally the
middle frame is integrated with the 2.5D glass cover with a beautiful curve
that breaks imagination. In order to make the color of the middle frame and the
color of the glass cover infinitely close, the designer repeatedly altered more
than 80 sets of color schemes, which finally made the middle frame melt between
the two glasses.
The full-screen display of Y30 brings infinity
without any notch or cut-out. It is a 6-inch IPS display has 1440×720 HD+
resolution. The screen is vibrant and crisp, and is powered by EL’s RawColor
display enhancement technology to bring true-to-life colors. With in-cell technology
and minimal bezels, you just feel that the screen seem to be floating on the
surface.
As for cameras, the Y30 boasts 13MP+5MP dual rear
camera with an 8MP front camera. The main camera has F2.0 large aperture,
making low-light shots just clearer. EL Mobile claims that with years of
experience accumulated in photography algorithm, the cameras will deliver
stunning results as if they were taken by professional photographers. During
our brief test, the output images are crisp and vibrant with accurate white
balance which are rarely seen at $100 price range phones. The front camera has
F2.2 large aperture and beauty mode, enhancing selfies for different face
shapes and skin tones in real-time, delivering great results.
The Y30 is more than great looks. It is powered by a
fast and efficient octa-core MTK6750 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM, and a large
3200mAh battery, delivering all-day battery life and smooth experience with no
lags or hick-ups. According to EL Mobile, the Y30 delivers high-fidelity sound with carefully
selected electrical components and professional tuning by audio engineers.
