After a period when Ulefone focused mainly on its
Armor Series, it is time for a more mainstream smartphone to join their product
portfolio. It is the Ulefone T2 that has been in the news for many months but
there was no information on the launch date. That’s until today that rumors say
it will launch next month for a price inside the US$ 300 – US$ 400 area.
Ulefone T2 will be a large phone and by large we mean
featuring a 6.7″ 19:9 display provided by Sharp and it will be carrying a
notch. As seen in the latest leaked photos, the body will feature a metal frame
with glass complementing it on the front and back. And it will be a flagship
mid-ranger as it will host the Helio P60 A.I. SoC along with 8GB of RAM and
128GB of internal storage.
The camera is a sector that Ulefone put a lot of
effort so it comes with a dual sensor/dual flash combination on the back with
the sensors being 21MP/13MP and the selfie shooter standing at 16MP. There will
be a 4200 mAh battery with 9V/2A fast charging plus wireless charging, NFC with
Google Pay, Face and Fingerprint unlock, global network support, and Android 9
Pie.
And while the Ulefone T2 is still at least 2 weeks
away from official launch, the Armor 6 is currently available from just US$ 299.99
on Aliexpress.
