TCL the Chinese TV
company who owns BlackBerry and Alcatel smartphone brands is reportedly working
on at least 5 foldable devices, one could even curve into a smartwatch. CNET
obtained the renders and patent filing of those devices. The tech news firm
reported TCL is working on two foldable tablets, two foldable smartphones, and
one flexible phone that could curve into a smartwatch.
One tablet folds
inward ala clamshell and one has a display on the outside. The same pattern
goes for the two smartphones. The last one is a tall devices that can curve
into a cuff around wrist.
What if it will
automatically snap into place once you put it in your wrist. Cool right? If
not, it still looks quite dope. They all look different from what Samsung and
Xiaomi might show at MWC 2019. However, details on the foldable devices are
still scarce.
