Oppo introduced its first 5G smartphone which of course uses a Snapdragon 855
SoC. However, there were reports that another Oppo smartphone, Oppo T1, with a
Snapdragon 855 chip will sell for 2499 yuan (US$ 372). OPPO’s vice president, Shen
Yiren, has dismissed this report as rumors and he said that there is no price
tag for any of Oppo’s SD855 phones yet. Although some report claims that Oppo
T1 doesn’t exist, there is no official confirmation from the company in that
regard.
According to
speculations, the OPPO T1 will be equipped with a 6.39-inch OLED display. It is
powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 flagship platform, coupled with 6GB/8GB of
RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal memory. In the camera department, this
smartphone comes with the recently popularized 48MP sensor as well as other
cameras.
According to the
information disclosed by Shen Yiren, OPPO will launch the Snapdragon 855
flagship this year, and it may be a new product of the Find X series. At the
same time, Shen Yiren confirmed that the Find X series will continue to
iterate. It is also worth noting that OPPO will present the OPPO 10x hybrid
optical zoom technology at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The
technology already has mass production capabilities, and the products released
in the first half of this year will be officially mass-produced. Shen Yiren
emphasized that the mass production smartphones equipped with OPPO’s 10x hybrid
optical zoom technology support dual OIS and its worth looking forward to.
