Two new OPP phones could be on the horizon as
revealed by China’s TENAA. The regulatory body which is the country’s FCC
equivalent has revealed details including images of two upcoming Oppo
smartphones which signals a near release date. The devices in question bear the
PCDM00 and PCDT00 model number and are believed to be variants of the same
device.
The OPPO device has a design that pretty matches
with current trend – featuring a tall display with thin bezels and waterdrop
notch. The device as per the listing is powered by a SoC with an octa-core
processor that works at 2.3 GHz and sports a 6.2-inch HD+ display.
The SoC is assisted by 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal
memory. The OPPO phone will come fitted with a
dual rear camera setup – a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors,
and a capable 16-megapixel. Measuring 155.9 x 75.4 x 8.3mm and weighing
in at 170g, the OPPO phones major selling point probably will be its 4000mAh
battery, hence the weight, while it sadly will boot Android Oreo out of the
box.
The Oppo phone should arrive soon in red, blue, black color options.
