Huawei’s P30 phones have fashion-themed names –
Elle, Vogue and Marie Claire. The latter seems to be the Huawei P30 Lite as
info of the MAR-LX1M has been trickling out. The User Agent profile of the
phones browser confirms a screen with 1,080 x 2,312px resolution – that’s
1080p+ with 19.3:9 aspect ratio. This entails a teardrop notch as you can see
in this render of the MAR-AL00 (the Chinese model, which may go under the nova
4e name).
The screen will likely measure 6” and the
fingerprint reader is clearly on the back – the in-display readers are still
reserved for the premium models. The Huawei P30 Lite is running Android 9 Pie on (allegedly) a Kirin
710 chipset. A certification from 3C revealed that the phone will come with an
18W charger (9V/2A).
Like the nova 4, this will clearly have a triple
camera on the back. Unofficial info describes the camera as 20 + 16 + 2MP. That makes sense given its
mid-range chipset – the nova 4 has a Kirin 970 and a 48MP main camera. It also
has a larger screen (6.4”).
