A new programmable robot which has just won the CES
2019 Best of Innovation Award in the Robotics and Drone category has now
launched via Kickstarter and is now available to back with earlybird pledges
available from US$ 99 or roughly £ 78. If all goes well and the campaign raises the
required US$ 50,000 over the next 60 days the Zümi programmable robot will start
shipping out to backers during May 2019.
Designed to provide a friendly and affordable self
driving car kit complete with artificial intelligence, the Zümi robot can
identify objects, make decisions and recognise hand gestures to follow your
instructions. The development team behind Zümi explain more about their
creation and its features
Zümi is the first educational self-driving car kit
that will teach you about the concept of artificial intelligence and
self-driving car technology in a fun and engaging way. With our friendly
step-by-step tutorials, you will be able to train her on how to navigate
through a miniature map in less than an hour. The more she learns, the better
she’ll get.”
