At CES 2019, Samsung exhibited a range of innovative
products covering entertainment, home, work, Internet driving, equipment
solutions, and robotics platforms. Among them, in the entertainment field, its
98-inch QLED 8K TV, 75-inch and 216-inch Micro LED TVs have attracted
widespread attention.
The recently exhibited TV is the largest QLED 8K TV
to date. Although Samsung has exhibited 8K TVs during the IFA last September
and quickly brought them to market, they cover 65-inch, 75-inch, 82-inch, and
85-inch. However, Samsung’s largest 98-inch QLED 8K TV fully demonstrating
Samsung’s technical strength in the 8K display field.
Nowadays, more and more TV manufacturers are
adopting chip technology to improve image quality. Samsung QLED 8K TV is no
exception. This TV uses an 8K quantum processing chip to fully release the
potential of quantum dot display technology. At the same time, it is based on
the patented technology of artificial intelligence, which can recognize the
playback content, optimize the image quality, and enhance the content of 4K or
lower resolution.
At last year’s CES, Samsung exhibited a 146-inch
“The Wall” Micro LED TV. Samsung made this wall bigger this year, and the
219-inch screen size is more in line with its “The Wall” title. In addition,
Samsung also exhibited a 75-inch Micro LED TV, which shows that Samsung has
high hopes for Micro LED display technology.
