LG V40 ThinQ

More than three months after the official LG V40 ThinQ introduction, the smartphone has finally made its way to India. To make up for the late arrival, LG is offering the phone for just INR 49,990 (US$ 700), and that's for the 6/128 GB variant. The phone is available on Amazon and will start shipping on Thursday, January 24.

The LG cameraphone has a notched 6.4” P-OLED screen with a QHD+ resolution and tall 19.5:9 ratio. The chipset is Snapdragon 845 with an octa-core CPU at up to 2.7 GHz frequency. According to the Amazon listing, only the variant with 128 GB storage is available, while the 6/64 GB is nowhere to be seen.

The LG V40 ThinQ is one of the first smartphones with three cameras on the back - one regular, one with a telephoto lens and one for wide-angle shots. The first two come with 12 MP sensors, the third being a 16 MP. The device was initially introduced in four colors, but only two are available in India - New Platinum Gray and New Moroccan Blue.
