In a few weeks time Dell will be launching their new
Alienware M17 gaming laptop which will offering users the company’s thinnest
and lightest gaming laptop to date. The new m17 gaming laptop follows on from
the previous launch of the updated m15 gaming laptop last year.
The lightweight 17.3-inch Alienware m17 gaming
laptop weighs in at 5.79lbs and measures 23 mm thick. Dell has created a
variety of different options to choose from offering Intel’s 8th Gen Core
i5-8300H, Core i7-8750H, and Core i9-8950HK processors. Together with graphic
processing provided by a choice of GPUs including the Graphics options include Nvidia’s GTX 1050 Ti or the
newly announced RTX 2060, 2070 Max-Q, or 2080 Max-Q GPUs, as well as support
for up to 32GB of RAM and dual SSDs. Dell is also offering two different
displays depending on your budget and requirements in the form of a 1920 x 1080
60Hz panel, or high-resolution 3840 x 2160 UHD option, also with a 60Hz refresh
rate.
The new Dell Alienware m17 gaming laptop starts at US$ 1,650, while the upgraded m15 with Intel Core i9 processors and RTX graphics
is priced at US$ 1,580 and both will be available to purchase later this month
from January 21st, 2019 onwards.
