Back at the IFA 2018, Acer teased the Predator
Triton 900. Today, the Taiwanese company has officially revealed all the
details regarding this monster 2-in-1 convertible gaming laptop. The Acer Predator Triton 900
features a CNC machined hinge dubbed as the "Ezel Aero Hinge." It
allows the big laptop transform into different modes when you need it. There's
a regular laptop mode, a display mode, and a tablet mode. Basically, this tech can make the
Predator Triton 900 the most powerful Windows tablet in the world.
The Acer Predator 900 comes with a big 17-inch 4K
IPS touchscreen with NVIDIA G-Sync technology. Inside, it has an 8th Gen Intel
Core i7 hexa-core processor, NVIDIA RTX 2080 GPU, up to 32GB DDR4 RAM, and NVMe
SSD storage options.
It also has the dual 4th-gen AeroBlade 3D fans that
minimize noise while improving airflow and an Xbox wireless receiver to let you
use an Xbox One controller. There's a backlit mechanical keyboard and a trackpad that also
doubles as a number pad.
The Predator Triton 900 comes with a starting price
of USD 3,999 and will be available in key markets in March.
