If you are in the market for a new wireless router
you might be interested in two new pieces of kit unveiled by TP-Link this week
in the form of the Archer AX6000 and AX11000 802.11ax wireless routers. Fitted
with eight high-gain external antennas deliver a powerful WiFi signal
throughout the home, while Rangeboost and Beamforming technology concentrate
the wireless signal directly to your devices rather than spreading out the
signal haphazardly, explains TP-Link.
The TP-Link Archer AX6000 wireless router offers
users AX WiFi speeds up to 1148 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 4804 Mbps on the 5
GHz band, providing up to 4x capacity than previous AC Wi-Fi systems.
Internally TP-Link have fitted a powerful 1.80 GHz quad-core processor with two
WiFi co-processors and 1 GB of RAM and the hardware is the first 802.11ax WiFi
r1st to be unveiled.
The TP-Link AX6000 wireless router is now available
to preorder from online stores such as Amazon from today priced at US$ 350 while
the TP-Link AX11000 will be available early next year during January 2019
priced at US$ 450. Both routers are equipped with a 2.5Gbps WAN port and eight
gigabit LAN ports and USB-C 3.0 and USB-A 3.0 ports.
