The Razer Phone 2 that comes as a sequel to the
original Razer Phone and comes with a handful of improvements over its
predecessor. However, Razer also announced a number of accessories with the
second iteration which includes a game controller. Yes, Xiaomi’s original Black
Shark came with a game controller and the new Nubia Red Magic Mars also has
extra shoulder buttons but the Razer Phone didn’t have any of that. Now, the
Razer Raiju controller is here and can be bought from Razer’s official website.
The Raiju controller costs US$ 149.99 and has a phone
holder on the top. It can be used not only with a Razer Phone but with other
ones as well. Considering it’s US$ 149.99, it is quite expensive compared to the
myriad controllers that are already available in the market.
The Raiju controller has Razer Mecha-Tactile Action
Buttons, hair-trigger mode, programmable function buttons and can be controlled
wirelessly as well. Besides the Raiju controller, Razer also revealed a 15W Qi
wireless charging stand with RGB lighting and some cases at the launch event of
the smartphone.
