OUKITEL released the entry-level budget model C11
Pro already in October and later on followed with the 3G-only downgraded C11
version of the phone. But the phones lacked the necessary support for the
network frequencies used by american carriers, so the new OUKITEL C11S is in
the works that should remedy the proble. It should hit the markets in December
and will be available through the Amazon stores.
The new C11S shares the same design and hardware
specs of the C11 Pro model with some minor tweaks. First they removed the rear
fingeprint scanner for whatever reason and second they added the proper network
bands supported for the American release. So now the supported bands are 2G:
850/900/1900/2100; 3G: 850/1700/1900; 4G: B2/4/5/7/12/17.
OUKITEL C11S still has the 5,5-inch HD+ resolution
display with 18:9 aspect ratio, MT6739 quad-core processor, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB of
internal storage, dual rear camera with 8MP+2MP sensors, 2MP selfie front cam,
3400 mAh battery capacity and Android 8.1 Oreo as the main system. Pretty basic
things, but the price for the model is also expected to be super low so will be
surely fitting the Xmas budget needs.
