LG CineBeam Laser 4K HU85L

Korean tech giant LG Electronics just announced the successor of the well-received CineBeam Laser 4K projector. This new model is called HU85L and just like the version before it, it features Ultra Short Throw (UST) technology which will we be able to see at CES 2019.

UST technology makes it possible for the projector to be placed just over two inches from the wall and still project a 90-inch diagonal image. This works on any flat surface and does of course make you save lots of space.

The LG CineBeam Laser 4K HU85L can reproduce 2500 ANSI lumens at 4K UHD for a screen size of up to 120-inch when placed a 7 inches of distance. LG’s projector can then bring a top notch viewing experience with its 12-point keystone adjustment feature which avoids image distortion, a common issue with UST projectors.

There are also many ways of watching content on it, from streaming, just like a smart TV, to playing local media via USB drives, Ethernet and HDMI. Meanwhile, as far as usability is concerned, LG’s ThinQ AI allows users to use voice commands to play media, along with the “Magic Remote” which recognizes gestures and sports backlit buttons.
