A new frameless laptop has been unveiled by Asus
this week in the form of the VivoBook 14 which is equipped with a four sided
nano edge display, offering a lightweight laptop that can be powered by an 8th
Generation Intel Core i7 processor if your budget will stretch.
VivoBook 14 can be fitted with SSD storage up to
512GB in size and is equipped with dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi connections provide
speeds of up to 867Mbps, 6X-faster than 802.11n wireless connectivity. The
frameless four-sided NanoEdge design provides the VivoBook 14 laptop with
bezels that measure only 5.7mm in thickness and offer an 87% screen-to-body
ratio.
The connections on the laptop include USB Type-C,
USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, USB 2.0, HDMI output, and a microSD card reader.
