ASUS has launched a new laptop
dubbed VivoBook 14 (X420). The new laptop comes with a revolutionary design
which sees the laptop come in without a frame around the display. The laptop is
also very compact and lightweight, yet studded with a fine hardware setup.
The ASUS VivoBook 14 (X420) features a frameless
four-sided NanoEdge display with an 87% screen-to-body ratio for immersive

compact sized laptop measures just 322.4 x 210 x 17.7mm and is said to be the
lightest and most compact model in the current VivoBook 14 lineup. It weighs
just 1.4kg.

editing, or casual gaming. In addition, dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi connections
provide speeds of up to 867Mbps — 6X-faster than 802.11n — for seamless
video-streaming and smoot’h web-surfing. The laptop also features Bluetooth
4.2, an optional fingerprint sensor built into the touchpad, a full-size
backlit keyboard that’s perfect for working in dim environments.
It has a sturdy one-piece construction and 1.3mm key
travel for comfortable typing. Other features include an array of ports
including USB Type-C, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, USB 2.0, HDMI output, and a microSD
card reader for hassle-free compatibility with current peripherals, displays,

said to be 3X more durable than normal Lithium-ion batteries. The device also
comes with fast charging technology which can deliver up to 60% battery power
in just 49 minutes.
