Digital Walker just announced that the latest Huami
smartwatch is now in the Philippines, the Amazfit Verge. The Amazfit Verge is dubbed as
the budget smartwatch with big specs on a budget. It boast a ruggedized yet
stylish looking body with IP68 water and dust resistance and 1.3-inch Gorilla
Glass 3 protected AMOLED screen with 360 x 360 resolution at 392 ppi.
Under the hood, it runs with a 1.2GHz dual-core
processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage, and 390mAh of battery. Amazfit stated that
it can last for up to 5 days of battery life with occasional GPS and continuous
heart rate tracking on a single charge.
The watch also comes with Bluetooth, GLONASS, NFC
for payments, built-in microphone and loudspeaker for calls, and most of the
sensors found on a modern smartwatch. You will find an optical, accelerometer,
gyroscope, geomagnetic, air pressure, ambient light, and wearing detection
sensors.
The Amazfit Verge comes with its own OS and
"Xiao" digital assistant for answering your questions. You can even
integrate it with Mijia ecosystem to control air conditioners, rice cookers,
and more. Its body is just 12.6 mm thick and 46 grams heavy. The package will
come with a detachable silicone strap and PC material buckle.

stores in the Philippines for PHP 9,490.
