Alldocube is adopting MediaTek and besides the
flagship tablet Alldocube X, another one was spotted on their website called
Alldocube M8. As it’s name suggests, it’s an 8″ tablet and it weighs just 345
grams and an 8.4mm slim body. One the inside, there’s the Helio X27 10-core SoC
with two fast Cortex-A72 cores are running at up to 2.6GHz.
Of course, all
cores support 64bit while the Mali T880 MP4 GPU is powerful enough for almost
every game out there. and it runs on Android Oreo out-of-the-box. The 8″
display is an IPS FHD 16:10 one that is more comfortable when surfing the web.
Also, it supports phone calls as well as dual SIM and 4G/LTE. In terms of
storage, there are 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, somewhat basic but
adequate. Lastly, the battery stands at 3.8V/5500mAh.
The Chinese manufacturer managed to put a 5500mAh
battery inside the 8.4mm enclosure and that’s about a 20% increase compared to
other tablets in the 8″ size range on the market, making longer battery life
achievable. What’s more, running on stock Android 8.0 Oreo there is a better
power management as well as more features like reading mode, eye protection
mode, auto-load management, application encrypted, etc, to deliver a more
satisfying experience.
There’s no information on pricing and release date
at the moment, but the product page is up on their website and we’ll let you
know more when additional information arrives.
