Xiaomi's Black Shark Helo gaming phone was announced
a week ago and the release date was supposed to be November 10, but it appears
that the handset is arriving a bit early.
In a Weibo post, Lei Jun, Xiaomi's founder,
announced that the official Mi online store will start selling the phone as
early as today. The flash sale begins at 8PM local time and as far as we can
tell from the post, it's the second one for today.
Unfortunately, the 10GB version is still nowhere to
be found and the store is offering the 8GB/128GB and the 6GB/128GB
configurations only. The 6GB model will sell for CNY 3,199 (US$ 459) while the
asking price of the 8GB alteration is CNY 3,499 (US$ 502). Just make sure you are
one of the first in line because stock won't last.
