Samsung has an event on the 9th of November where it
will unveil the W2019 clamshell smartphone. Samsung has released a poster for
the event which will take place in China and it does more than just tell us the
details of the launch.
The poster shows us the phone and the two color
variants it will be available in which are Rose Gold and Platinum. The photo
also shows the W2019 will have its SIM tray on the upper half of the phone and
its power button on the lower half.
If you brighten the image, you should be able to see
the outer 4.2-inch screen and the T9 keypad clearly. There is also a China
Unicom logo on the image which means the phone will likely be exclusive to the
carrier.
The Samsung W2019 will have two 4.2-inch displays, a
Snapdragon 845 processor, and dual rear cameras. It will run Android 8.1 Oreo
out of the box and have a 3,000mAh battery. Samsung has also double the number
of cameras on the phone’s rear.
Like previous models in the W-series, the Samsung
W2019 will also be quite expensive. There are speculations it will be priced
over ¥ 10,000 (US$ 1,445).
