The LG Q9 is an upcoming upper mid-range phone from
LG. Now that the South Korean company has already announced the LG V40 ThinQ
flagship phone in the previous month, it could be now gearing up on the launch
of LG Q9. The key specifications of the smartphone had leaked in September.
Also, a leaked video that had appeared in the same month to reveal its
appearance. Today, a fresh render of the phone to reveal its front design.
As it can be seen in the below image, the handset is
equipped with a notched screen. The handset seems to be sporting a tall aspect
ratio. The chin of the device is a bit thick and the notch seems to be housing
the front-facing camera, an earpiece and some other sensors. The volume rockers
are present on the left side of the phone. The Power button is located on the right
edge. The handset does not feature a physical button for accessing Google
Assistant.
Like the predecessor LG Q8, the upcoming LG Q9 could
be an IP68 rated and MIL-STD-810G certified handset. The handset is rumored to
arrive with a 6.1-inch IPS LCD display that supports Full HD+ resolution of
2160 x 1080 pixels.
The Snapdragon 660 is expected to power the 32 GB
and 64 GB editions of the LG Q9 along with 4 GB of RAM. The handset is rumored
to be packed with a 3,550mAh battery. The handset is expected to arrive with a
rear-facing fingerprint scanner and carry support for NFC connectivity. The
Android 8.1 Oreo OS is expected to arrive preinstalled on the smartphone.
LG is yet to confirm on the unveil date of the LG Q9
smartphone. The pricing of the smartphone is also under the wraps.
