The latest Christmas Catalogue of Cherry Mobile
showed that the company has silently released the new Flare J6 series. It
include the Flare J6, J3 Max, and J6 Plus. First is the Flare J6 it has a
5.45-inch 18:9 screen, 1.3GHz quad-core chip, 1GB RAM, 8GB expandable to 32GB
storage, 13MP + 2MP dual-camera setup behind, 5MP selfie camera, 3G
connectivity, and Android Oreo (Go edition) OS.
Next is the Flare J3 Max. It has identical specs
coming from the Flare J6 except that it has a bigger 6-inch HD+ screen and a
fingerprint scanner. The most interesting of the bunch is the Flare J6 Plus. It is a rare
budget phone with a 19:9 screen. It is one of the cheapest with a notch.
The Flare J6 Plus features a curved body with a
6.2-inch 19:9 TrueView HD+ screen. Inside, it has decent specs for the price.
It has a 1.3GHz 64-bit quad-core chip, 2GB RAM, and 16GB expandable storage up
to 128GB.
It also has a dual-camera setup behind. It has a
13MP + 2MP cameras. For selfies, you will see a large 13MP snapper. It also has
a fingerprint scanner at the back, 4G LTE connectivity, dual SIM slots, and
Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box.
Weirdly, both the Flare J6 and J3 Max are priced at
PHP 3,499. Obviously, the Flare J3 Max is the better phone between the two. On the other hand, the Flare J6
Plus is priced at just PHP 5,990. They are now available at Cherry
Mobile stores.
