Samsung has announced the launch of a new digital
golfing accessory in the form of the Galaxy Watch Golf Edition smartwatch.
Basically a Samsung Galaxy Watch sold pre-installed with the Smart Caddie
application in a similar way the company created an accessory using the Gear S3
and the creation of the similar Gear S3 Golf Edition.
The Smart Caddie app provides users with data 60,000
courses across the globe, as well as shot tracking and record keeping. The new
Samsung Galaxy Watch Golf Edition smartwatch will be priced at 409,700 won or US$ 367 for the 46mm smartwatch and 389,900 won or US$ 351 for the 42mm version.
Unfortunately the new golfing accessory will only be
available in South Korea to start and Samsung have not released any details on
worldwide availability.
