The new Realme trio has reached Indonesia as
promised. The phones will be available for purchase from October 16 (starting
at 11:00am local time). The Realme 2 Pro costs IDR 2,900,000 (US$ 190), a stellar price for a Snapdragon
660 phone with a 6.3” 1080p+ screen (with a teardrop notch), a 16+2MP dual
camera on the back, 16MP selfie cam and a 3,500mAh battery.
This price is for the 4/64GB model. There’s also a
6/64GB one for IDR 3,300,000 (US$ 216) and an 8/128GB one for IDR 3,700,000
(US$ 243). These prices exactly match the ones in India, Realme’s first market.
The Realme 2 with 3/32GB memory is IDR 2,000,000
(US$ 130) and the 4/64GB one is IDR 2,400,000 (US$ 157). The Realme C1 will cost IDR
1,400,000 (US$ 92). Note that Lazada will have a “special offer” on 11.11, but
it’s not clear what that is yet.
The Realme 2 and C1 are fairly similar with a 6.2”
screen (with a wider notch), Snapdragon 450 chipset, 13+3MP dual camera and a
4,230mAh battery. The difference in price mostly comes from the memory – the C1
has only 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage. While you can extend the latter with a
microSD card, there’s not much you can do to help the RAM situation.
All three phones will be available on Lazada.
