Microsoft has today unveiled a new range of new
products, one of which is the Microsoft Surface Laptop 2, which will be
available to purchase later this month from October 16th, 2018 onwards, priced
from US$ 999 upwards.
The new Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 can be equipped
with up to an Intel Core i7 processor supported by up to 16GB RAM, and fitted
with up to 1TB of internal SSD storage, with prices for flagship systems around US$ 2,700. Microsoft says the new Surface Laptop 2 range are capable of providing
85 percent more performance when compared to its predecessor.
Equipped with a rechargeable battery capable of
providing up to 14.5 hours of battery life the entry-level model is equipped
with a Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage for US$ 999 and all
systems in the range feature a new backlit keyboard. The new keyboard design
offers a quieter typing experience and the 13.5 inch touchscreen display is
capable of providing a 1500:1 contrast ratio and users with a resolution of
2256 x 1504 pixels. “
