The Honor 8C wasn’t the only device getting launched
yesterday from the Chinese maker. They did indeed just unveil a tablet as well,
namely called Honor MediaPad T5, which shares many similarities with the
previously launched Honor Tab 5.
The Huawei MediaPad T5 packs a 10-inch display with
1920 x 1200 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The large panel is then
encased in a metal body created through CNC machining for a premium look and
feel. Meanwhile on its sides it’s equipped with two speakers for a stereo sound
Huawei calls “Histen” in its 5.0 edition, plus they’ve been finely tuned by
Harman Kardon.
The the hood, we find a Huawei Kirin 659 processor
coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. As
we mention in the title, the Kirin processor allows the tablet to support
HUawei’s GPU Turbo technology to improve the gaming experience, theoretically.
The new Honor MediaPad T5 then sports a fingerprint
scanner and face ID for a smoother unlocking, along with a 5100mAh capacity
battery. The tablet sells in China at US$ 200 for the 3GB/32GB version, US$ 230 for
the 4GB/64GB variant and US$ 260 for the LTE 4GB/64GB model.
