GOME has announced its entry in India in partnership
with Agaston Mobile Private Limited who have already created their own space in
the Indian mobile market with its brand Tambo Mobile. GOME’s India venture will
be its first overseas operation. The company has also announced its new C
Series smartphones in India.
The ‘Face Me’ technology by GOME will take the face
recognition technology and offer the privacy to the user data including
Gallery, Incoming calls and hiding of details on the notification lock screen.
The Face Me technology will remain a standard security offering across the GOME
smartphones.
The GOME C-series smartphones include C7 Note and
C7. The C7 Note comes in two versions; 2/3GB RAM and 16/32GB storage. It has a
premium glass design and sports a 5.99-inch screen HD+ display with 18:9 aspect
ratio along with 16M colors and 282 PPi. It is powered by the 2.0 GHz Octa-Core
processor and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
In terms of optics, the C7 Note packs a 13MP rear
camera and a 5MP front-shooter for selfies with modes such as Panorama, Bokeh,
and Scene. It comes with Face unlock and fingerprint sensor. Connectivity
features include 4G VoLTE, Dual-SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS. A 3500mAh battery is
on board.
GOME C7 sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display with 18:9
aspect ratio. It is powered by a 1.5 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 16 GB
inbuilt memory that is expandable further upto 64GB. It runs on Android 8.1 out
of the box. The C7 features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-shooter for
selfies with modes such as Panorama, Bokeh, and Scene. It comes with Face
unlock and fingerprint sensor. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE,
Dual-SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS. A 35000mAh battery is on board.
The GOME C7 Note and C7 will be available in Black,
Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 6999 for the 2GB RAM model and Rs. 8499 for
the 3GB RAM, while the C7 costs Rs. 5,999.
