After a relatively long quiet period, Chinese phone
maker Elephone appears to be back in full swing with a bunch of new handsets,
including the Elephone A5. The handset, in addition to
sporting some pretty sweet looking design, does indeed also pack some of the
best mid-range hardware inside, such as the Mediatek Helio P60 CPU.
The performance produced by the processor mentioned
above is actually what this news bit is about. As you can see in the image
below, Elephone did, in fact, compare their upcoming device with lots of other
phones coming from companies the likes of Honor, Vivo and Apple with their
iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone X and XS Max. The comparison is of course taking place on
the benchmark platform Antutu; let’s have a look.
As we can see, the Elephone A5 manages to score over
130k points, which is definitely a respectable score for any handset nowadays
and brings it very close to something like the Vivo X21 UD boasting a
Snapdragon 660.
Benchmark aside, Elephone also revealed some of the
specs for the nearing phone, including a large 6.18-inch FullHD display, a
triple camera setup with AI support and two front cameras with beautify
features.
