The glass panels of the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20
Pro hinted at slim bezels, but the launch box we saw last week did its best to
conceal the design. This dummy offers a much cleaner look at the upcoming
design. This is the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, you can tell by the wide bezel (and
by the label on the screen, obviously). The non-Pro model is coming with a
smaller waterdrop notch instead.
However, the Pro model will house a 3D face scanner
in that notch (according to rumors). Further differences include screen
resolution – 1,440 x 3,120px for the Pro vs. 1,080 x 2,244px for the non-Pro. And as you can see, the Mate 20
Pro screen has curved sides, while the regular Mate 20 appears to have a flat
screen (with a beveled edge, but flat nonetheless).
The Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will be unveiled on
October 16, the Huawei Mate 20 Lite is already official and even on sale.
